Diving In

I had one of those three o’clock in the morning wake-ups, so by seven o’clock, as I start this blog, I feel my day is halfway through. At least it is still cool enough to have the windows open. That won’t last long, the forecast for the next week and a half is sweltering temperatures.

But for now, I will enjoy the open windows as I sit at my desk. I am preparing for a new study. I am going to be looking at different things in our lives that create issues for us and look thoroughly at Bible verses that deal with those issues.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. – 2 Tim 3:16-17 (ESV)

The Lord is redirecting a lot of things in my life. Both in personal study and in time management. I hope to share what I learn and/or am reminded of. God is good at that, at making things fall into place more smoothly, even when it doesn’t seem easier in the day to day workings of our lives. I, for one, welcome it. His plans are far better than I could ever hope for mine to be.

So, this is my introduction to my new blog format. It might look different, it might not. I will be obedient in those little details and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I hope it benefits you as much as I pray it will benefit me.

Each day His mercies are new. Never forget, my friends, the extent of His love for you. – Vicki

  1. Vicki, I too feel such a redirection from the Lord. I believe he wants His people to buckle down and prepare for what’s ahead, whatever that may be. Never have I been alive when the sum total of life is so spinning and chaotic. But I feel such an inner peace and the need to be a light in this mess!!
