Early Spring has returned after a short burst of early Summer. The rain is coming in for the next three days. The aches are there to confirm the weather reports. I took my weather monitor down because it seemed to be slowing down my internet, but I’m going to put it back up. I like watching it, pretending I can predict what is about to happen.
Either a Spring cold or allergies are my friend this morning, so I didn’t raise the windows. So starts the day. I also pulled the reading glasses out since the plan is to be working at the computer most of the day.
Somethings I wanted to share on this short post – I woke up in the middle of the night, after a somewhat troubling dream, to the words of the song “Spirit Lead Me” going through my mind.
I had to laugh. God is really very cool. I knew today could be a day where I would have to guard my heart, and my mouth. That song gave me a reminder of God’s concern and promises to assist me. Then my phone app pinged, and I got this verse for today. “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:6 ESV
Yes, the Lord speaks to us in ways that we most easily hear Him.
