This site is okay. It was done using the new tools. However, I don’t have the time or inclination to learn a new and modern process. Once it is learned it is probably more efficient. But I am looking at time and finances. I don’t want to continue to pay for a site with a domain if I can’t make it do what I want it to do. And, I don’t have the finances to hire someone to build a website.

This is a nice enough looking site, despite the fact it has about half of what I wanted. Or it could be if I wanted to spend more hours on setting it up than on writing. I don’t want to do that.

I suppose that is telling me that it is time to stop thinking I can do all the things I used to be able to do.

So, other than the short test posts in the last week, previous posts are on the archive site, a free site from years ago. Vicki E. Whitlock – Blog post archives (wordpress.com) At this stage in my life, I wonder if a domain is necessary, and perhaps returning to the very simple and free sites are best. Of course, readers will have to put up with advertisements on the free sites. Sorry.
